The world is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.

Compilation of the Heart - Everything in it’s right Place (and Time).

Life composes around us.
We talk to change the perspective over and over until we see.

I actually did not choose the furniture but I guess everything was in it’s right place.
Now I know why this ugly chunk of wood is still there - I hadn’t seen the key. The guy who wants to pick up the lounge cabinet can call now to make an appointment. I might even give it to him for the price he tried to talk me into on the phone, and I keep one key.

The question is mine, though.

Compilation of the Heart - "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

Your task is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

Compilation of the Heart - "Run, Forest, Run!"

Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened. - Winston Churchill

“Stop questioning everything!” “Why?” “Because it’s not good for You!”

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
    Rainer Maria Rilke

Ihr vielen unbestürmten Städte,
habt ihr euch nie den Feind ersehnt?
O daß er euch belagert hätte
ein langes schwankendes Jahrzehnt.

Bis ihr ihn trostlos und in Trauern,
bis daß ihr hungernd ihn ertrugt;
er liegt wie Landschaft vor den Mauern,
denn also weiß er auszudauern
um jene, die er heimgesucht.

Schaut aus vom Rande eurer Dächer:
da lagert er und wird nicht matt
und wird nicht weniger und schwächer
und schickt nicht Droher und Versprecher
und Überreder in die Stadt.

Er ist der Mauerbrecher,
der eine stumme Arbeit hat.

 NEVER GIVE UP

for

"Always keep Ithaca in your mind.
To arrive there is your ultimate goal.”

Remember that wherever your heart is,
there you will find your treasure.
You've got to find the treasure,
so that everything
you have learned along the way
can make sense.”

If you press me to say why I loved him, I can say no more than because he was he, and I was I. - Michel de Montaigne
